East Coast Haar

Woke up to another grey day. Had to wake BB at 8.10am. That gave him 25 minutes to wake up, get breakfasted and dressed before we had to set off for school. Spent the morning doing housework and baking and watched some of the Margo MacDonald memorial service. Being optimistic I hoped the sun would break though so I could hang my washing out. It wasn't to be. My washing is hanging in the house.

Visited a friend this afternoon and took a banana and chocolate cake. It went down well.

BB’s swimming lesson and then home for us. BB is exhausted after this first (short) week back at school. He’s not quite out of holiday mode and has been going to sleep far too late.

It has been grey and damp all day, and is now raining. Rather than another wet tulip blip, here’s a wet pulsatilla seed head - view it large. Hope the sun makes an appearance tomorrow.
