Pool Party

Thanks to After Dark for the idea of a 'Borrowers' series (or 'cereal' in this case). It took ages to get all the figures balanced in the right place and I can't get rid off the smell of milk but I've been at work all day and was short of a Blip.

A lovely day with the Reception class today. Friday morning is always 'celebration assembly' and our head teacher had managed to get the lady from the village stores in under false pretences. She had a 'special' birthday this week so the whole school surprised her and sang 'Happy Birthday' (accompanied by the school orchestra) and she was presented with a bouquet of flowers. I can't think of any other school I have worked at where that would happen. It really is a bit special.
