Tokyo!

We made it!
This is, unbelievably, the view from my brother's bedroom window. It's quite stunning. I can't get over the expanse of the city and the number of skyscrapers.
We are all pretty tired after the flight, which Scooter Boy managed to be sick on (as well as the train from the airport!). My brother went out for sushi and returned to find us all crashed out together on one bed! It was probably a good move as we managed to wake up later and head out to catch the last of the cherry blossom in the park near the flat. Then it was a short walk to the Tokyo Dome, you can see it in the photo. The incredibly tall building next to it is theTokyo Dome Hotel. It's the home of baseball in the city but contains an arcade where, much to the boys delight, we find a Mario Kart game 'exclusive' to Japan! It's an immense place with shops and restaurants, a very scary looking roller coaster and a big wheel. We settle for ice cream to start with.
It all feels very surreal but amazing at the same time.
