Sant Pere de Rodes

Today's walk involved driving into Spain and walking up from the pretty whitewashed coastal town of Port de las Selva to the beautiful Romanesque monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes and up again to the ruins of the chateau de Sant Salvador which dates back to the 9th century. The walk took all day and followed the high ridges with views back into France and across the Rosas plain into Spain. After two long walks and badminton in the last 24 hours I think I will put my feet up tonight.
