Doing Stuff

We spent the Easter weekend in the Lake District (Eskdale and Wasdale) with a lot of Ros's family (her Siblings and all of their children and grand-children (including her own of course) and three dogs!). We had a great time and fabulous weather. Photos of that trip are here.

Thursday night we went for the first time to the Stables theatre near Milton Keynes and saw the Paramount Jazz Band. They major in New Orleans / Dixie Trad Jazz which is not my thing but I have to admit the trumpet player and pianist were excellent. The Paramount are of course Acker Bilk's band, but he (the legendary clarinettist) was not well enough to play. We were very late home for a school night, but it was worth it.
