'Sunshine through the rain'

This tulip is well past its best and was lying on the lawn battered by the rain. However, it looked so bright and cheerful I decided to blip it today!
For my lovely blip friends who have been following the latest dramas with my Mum... She is looking a lot brighter today, back on the surgical ward from the HDU. She can't really move her leg but did get out of bed this morning and the physio had her standing. Amazing..!
Tonight my husband went home as he has commitments and needs to pick up some things. Tomorrow my brother and sister in law are coming down from Newcastle for a few days.
