Just drippin'

I had a little trip out today to Peebles no less. And, with no spaces on the High Street, it was into the Pay&Display car park. The ticket machine refused my 10p pieces. I did think they were quite thin and a little light. I admired at the acute sensitivity of the machine. Then it refused 20p pieces. And then a 50p piece. My view of the machine changed. It was clearly broken so I looked for another one.

Before I moved onto the next one, I read the notice next to the machine. It transpires you only have to Pay&Display on a Saturday.

I looked around to make sure no-one had witnessed my efforts to pay for a parking space unnecessarily. Sometimes, you just can't give it away.

The Amalanchier is just dripping with blossom.
