Stormy Skies

I was due to meet Mrs J at Waddesdon today for a bit of photography, some lunch and lots of chat.
But it was pouring down so we decided against it and went to Ikea instead!
Not as photogenic but good all the same.
We started off with tea and then had a wander round the showroom filling our trolley with essentials: plasters, freezer pots, wrapping paper, big useful storage bags, napkins, spades and beach tennis.
I only went for the freezer pots!
Then we had a lovely lunch and more tea and chat. Mr K joined us afterwards - just in time to pay for all the lovely new things!!
Before picking up Miss E for swimming we popped into Halfords and bought a hoover for the car.
We have officially been taken over by aliens!
It was Miss E's first lesson at the next level. She was about a foot shorter than all the others and at least a year younger. She struggled a bit in terms of stamina and strength - they swim so much further.
But she loved her green hat and was giddy to be in the deep end!
Hopefully she'll be able to cope with it.
