I didn't tell anyone we were coming up here - least of all Technophobe whom I have whisked away for a surprise birthday treat. Her birthday is tomorrow and I have other surprises up my sleeve.

We aren't staying in Keswick on this occasion but in a rather nice hotel in Borrowdale.

Unfortunately I lost my glasses this evening near where this photo was taken :-(
