Cuddy Point
I am kicking myself. On my point and shoot camera that I keep in my flying suit is an image of Ben Nevis from the bottom. It's still there and the camera is still in my flying suit and my flying suit is still at work. Pillock. Today was one of those days where the job really rocks. Tasked to the extremity of our patch, one of my favourite parts of Scotland on the perfect day and a happy ending to boot. But taking photos while this is all going on is not easy. Still we stopped for fuel in Fort William so I got the shot of the Ben.
Its not a great image, in fact it's not the best photo opportunity I had. Sunsetting over the Cullins on Skye was better. But I struggle to do the view any justice. I'll keep trying though.
This is Cuddy Point with Lews Castle beyond. Pretty, but not as dramatic as Ben Nevis.
