Early View
BJ had to head into work early this morning, lots of sand was used over the winter, and now lots of sand must be cleaned up for the summer. In such, he needs to use the power broom early in the morning - before staff arrives and while the dew in the air is heavy enough to keep the dust down.
Since Mace joined our family in February, it has been my job to get up with him. Typically a morning person, this doesn't bother me most days... but when the day starts at 4 a.m.? Generally, I'd be bitter, a bit miserable, and a lot grumpy ... but when I stepped out of the garage, I was greeted warmly by this beautiful sight. The winds had died down from yesterday and the birds were already singing their songs. I must admit, not all that bad.
Of course, all good things must come to an end, and it did ... my morning at work was less than relaxing and it was only until this afternoon that my stress level dropped back down to a normal level. I have to thank my loving Mother for her support this morning, and my hubby, kiddos and pup for the snuggles and laughs this afternoon. It's days like today that I appreciate the love and support that is family.
