Chinese fortune

We had Chinese take out for dinner tonight. This is the fortune I got in my cookie.
The only thing is, now I wonder what surprise is in store for me and why is it not on my doorstep. I mean, so many things I like could be bought in store and would be a surprise, but am I supposed to buy it myself?
Any thoughts on this? I'm a bit "Confucius".
