Cycling in the Netherlands

After renting a bike for Dad and adjusting Kevin's bike for Mom, the three of us pedaled off past Olympic Stadium and through the Park Schinkeleilanden to explore the Amsterdamse Bos.

We explored the nooks and crannies of the forest, stopped for lunch at a restaurant in the park, and then carried on with more exploration. This photo was taken beside the rowing canal near the park entrance where we stopped for a few minutes. We had a very nice time and cycled between 25 and 30 kilometres so it was a bit of a workout, too.

After a refreshing rest and snack, Kevin and my parents visited the Van Gogh Museum while I prepared dinner.
