"Sanguine Moon" Print

Went to a talk at a downtown gallery today by two artists on exhibit. This print done by Margaret Barnaby from the Big Island is a series on the alala (endangered Hawaiian crow). (The white streaks of light, please try to ignore.)
The other artist is Elroy Juan who incises designs on gourds, then dyes them using old techniques.
It is so interesting to be able to talk to the artist as you admire their work.
