First Day of Summer

The gardening school had a visitors' day and competition in flower decorations. We went there for a wee visit. I thought the apple trees was the most interesting, they obviously had already flowered and there were already tiny fruits on some. I would so like to taste it when it is ripe.
We became inspired and went to look for plants. I was very excited to see that they sold Swamp Blueberry plants. Unfortunately my excitement was soon extinguished when they told me the berries would not develop outdoors. So no blueberries for us!
