The Knights of Saint George

A bit of opportunism here. I was out without my camera when I saw these medieval soldiers marching towards me. Luckily I had my phone on hand (amazing what you can do with a phone these days!) and grabbed a quick shot.

This is the Teignmouth St George's Day Festival, organised by the local traders. Especially important this year, to show that the town is back in business for tourism with the reopening of the railway line after the recent storm damage.
