Today we spent the morning in the pool for the kids and then we headed back to Joshua Tree in the afternoon. Stopping at the Cholla Cactus Garden first and then to arch rock for a hike.

We then looked for a spot to stop for sunset (thanks hubby for seeing this great spot). The girls sat in the car eating a picnic and wtaching films while we waited for sunset.

After it got dark we stopped again for a few night shots of the nightsky before the moon rose. Hubby also did some light painting and took some shots of us playing with glow sticks.

At arch rock we saw two ladies dancing on the rocks dressed in foil; apprently they were making a scifi film - see here


I also really liked two shots of the girls at arch rock - little big girl & little monster.
