Abstraction

This afternoon I was listening to Paavoharju, my current favourite band and was inspired to create this. Paavoharju are a Finnish collective who produce a densely textured (folk/electronica/and recently hiphop???)music that at times sounds like a mate has phoned you from outside the village hall on a windy night and the band are playing onstage behind the closed doors. I think its beautifully lush music.
Anyway, whilst hearing their complex layers of sound I thought I'd have some fun with layers myself. I took a fairly nondescript photo of my ceiling before I paint it and went to town with the effects to create something unrecognisable from the original source material.
