Roof Over One's Head

The new Sports Village is (quickly) taking shape. Here it is with the roof now covering both stuctures. Took a stroll around the area and much has changed since this shot. A massive trench has been dug up just behind the panelling, which I assuming is the swimming area(?), but this'll mean another structure will need to cover it. We'll see.

Popped into Maplins this morning after having a chat with friend L about the possibility of upgrading my laptop as opposed to replacing it with a Desktop. I ended up spending just less than 70 quid on a couple of Memory Upgrades (2G + 2G). Now that one of them has been installed (second one will be sent to me as they only had one it stock), my laptop is run a bit quicker. Should expect a massive improvement once the other 2G is installed. I am now looking into replacing the hard drive soon with at least 1T. And get rid of Vista for good!

Freind K and her daughter F called round for coffee and chocolate fingers this morning. Had an ace natter (well, Mrs Tuttle did).

The afternoon was spent playing Wii Monopoly, which is ace (see yesterdays blip, and the day before).
