Save Lewisham A&E

These quiet campaigners were in Orpington High Street today. The A&E at Lewisham hospital is threatened with closure because the hospital in Orpington was so badly managed that it became bankrupt. The logic is hard to follow. It's also hard to understand why senior management has been allowed to escape unscathed over many years.
This made a change from the usual collection of beggars and loonies normally found on a Saturday although UKIP promoters were present in numbers - two handing out leaflets and two driving up and down the High Street with flags and making a lot of noise by having their car windows open whilst playing American pop music. Where's the UK independence in that?
