a new start

i now own a real camera for the first time in three years. i haven't really been using blipfoto since my d50 died. a couple of days ago i bought a d80 from a friend and i've been really looking forward to blipping again. blipfoto was in fact my main motivation for getting another camera, life is just much more fun when i have motivation to go out and find things to take pictures of.

this picture was taken at bynäset on frösön, an island near östersund. spring came early this year. the ice on the lake melted at a record early date. i'm still haven't really come to terms with the fact that spring has arrived, it feels almost surreal that it can be so warm so early in the year.
