Learning to Knit

I've only been knitting for just a little over a year (thanks to the patient teaching of my daughter-in-law) but have become addicted to it. While we were visiting the kids in Shenzhen, Gander expressed an interest in learning so decided to teach him what I knew...how to cast on, basic knit stitch and how to bind off and he was a very fast learner! He decided to make some coasters, the first of which he knitted on chopsticks but the next day I bought him some knitting needles and left him some yarn, so he's good to go. I'm sure a scarf by him will be created sometime in the near future!
