Rover's bush

Rover's bush because of a tradition that whenever one of our cats dies they're buried in the border and a bush of some appropriate description planted over them. This one is a simple bush for what was a simple cat.. Rover was third of a litter of five the next two who died and he was obviously marginal, with some degree of brain damage. He seemed to lack some of the basic abilities of being a cat, navigation always was a real challenge to him and he was lost and recovered dozens of times, although always in good health as he was extraordinarily friendly and broke many a little girls heart around Dunblane having been taken in for a week or two. After we moved to Balquhidder the opportunity to get lost reduced and he made it to a good age and even eventually managed to catch the odd mouse.
