Seeing Away

After the last day of fog it was quite nice to actually see things a bit further away.

Here I am in Davidson's Mains park looking towards town.

The John Muir Way goes a little way thru the park, but decided today to walk along the path from Davidson's Mains to Barnton, a walk I've not done for quite a while.

Tree cutters out clearing the infected and broken trees. If photos had smellivision then the wild garlic would floor you. Plenty of jelly ears fungi too - think I'll remember the name of this one for a while. ;-)

Sad to see the houses gone at the far end of the path in Barnton Park Wood, you know the bit of path that you weren't supposed to walk unless a resident? Well the path is still there as the railings mark, but just rubble for the houses. See how many building they can squeeze in to that space without touching the woods.

Cut the sky as no colour and added alittle contrast, but lazy again with auto everything.
