Redwing Blackbird Still Life

It is rare to see a redwing blackbird on the ground eating or drinking close to a house. It is usually a field bird. This is the second time I have seen this particular bird. I took his portrait while my hand moved and he stood still in the rain.
I am still shaky from the visit to the spine doctor.

Today there was the free tree give away in the town square. I forgot about it and so did not have my camera. But I scored two five year old red oak trees and two evergreens. But this will be the Nature blip today.
