The Alps from the Plane Window

The first day of the holiday en-route to Tuscany which is almost becoming a second home.

During the very comfortable flight to Pisa the clouds parted to give great views of the Alps. According to the captain these are the mountains around Mont Blanc.

We met up with the rest of the group at Pisa and then made the 2 hour drive to Jimmy and Angela's beautiful converted farmhouse in the Tuscan hills which is to be our base for the next week.

Looking forward to some wonderful days of sightseeing and photography, good food and wine.
