First apple bloom

Apple bloom is the name of a baby pony in the new My Little Pony. It's all I could think about whilst viewing the new bloom emerging from a bud on our apple tree. We got the tree from the Free Trees for LA program and it has looked like a dead stick in a pot. Then we started to spy some buds and today saw the first hint of a flower. Spot the red?
