James Thomson Bridge Hawick

Apparently this is the most modern bridge in the Scottish Borders. I'd never seen it lit up at night before today but I had a feeling it was more than just a footbridge with white night lights. The bridge goes over the River Teviot.
Apparently, James Thomson was a songwriter and poet from the Borders and died in Hawick about 1888 or there abouts. There is a kind of bust at one end of the bridge will I shall no doubt blip in the future.
