Suspicious of my motives

Dave and I took a quick walk round the neighbourhood this afternoon. Wasn't sure if it was going to rain but so far so good. I snapped a few shots of the strange sky but nothing really looked that good so I have blipped this cat who was sitting on the path but retreated to the bushes as we approached.

We just found out a house in our street sold for $950,000. A nice large home on a small section. Five bedrooms and three bathrooms, all a good size but nothing luxurious. Pre-earthquake it was probably a $600k home. Now that houses are hard to get and people are queuing up to buy, prices have rocketed.
