Too Late For Easter

I almost stepped on this little cluster on the ground. It looks like some kind of fungus, but after viewing hundreds of images of orange fungus I am as ignorant as before as to what it is. The beads are 3mm long.

Fine today, but with a cold nor’wester. I have felt chilled all day. My winter weight duvet is on my bed now.
