Arrived

at Hotel ter Polders.

It wasn't an easy start. The satnav's cable were missing (I had it last). Luckily we found another one that worked. About 50 yards from home C accidentally but the back screen wiper on and it broke clean off against the bicycle rack. The rest of the trip went without incident, but it was wet.

Had a quick pitstop at the Eurotunnel, but we were 30 minutes delayed befor we could board & be off. Had a quick stop at Cite Europe in Calais to see what it's all about. Nice shopping centre for those who have money to spent.

Then we ordered wine at the Calais Wine Superstore to be picked up on our way back.

We stopped in Veurne for coffee, a waffle and a most divine Veurne meringue. I put "shortest route" in the satnav from Veurne to the hotel. Whether it took us on the shortest route I doubt, but it was definitely interesting,

Had a beer & a shower and then a very nice entrecote, salad & fries.

Slept like a rock.
