In memory of Pop

Had an amazing day with relatives from Australia. About 10 months ago my uncle, their dad and grandfather passed away. His wish was for his ashes to come to his homeland. The event evolved to become Malcolm's Ashes Tour - yes he was a great cricket fan too! Yesterday ended with Daniel his grandson , taught to play the pipes by his pop, playing a wee lament just outside the Drovers after we'd eaten there. What happened next was awesome. The talented young man was approached by a couple of male customers, encouraged to come inside and within a few minutes had the place in an uproar. Medleys, jigs and a rendition of flower of Scotland as everyone in the pub sang their heart out. Hardly a dry eye! Bet they won't forget that in a long time. Scotland is awesome!!
