Sunrise, Tekapo Canal

I was happy to interrupt my fishing to climb above the Tekapo Canal to see the sunrise across the McKenzie Country.

Quite a different take compared to last night's sunset over Aoraki Mount Cook. This morning was vivid while last night's sunset was delicate.

All good things must come to an end and I'm home now. Not that home isn't good (or work for that matter) but you know what I mean.

I've had a great time. Lots of fun, good company, stunning scenery, the odd fish and plenty of small tests and challenges for my foot. It did well.

So much I wish I could tell and show Mum.
