Gondolas on the lake

We've been on holiday in the Lake District... having spent the last 10 years regularly driving through on the M6, we finally decided to make some time to go exploring...

We stayed in a gorgeous holiday cottage attached to a brilliant pub, just a couple of miles a way from Lake Windermere...

These were some row boats for hire, I loved the colours of the distressed wood and varnish and the twirly decorative metalwork...
