That's All, Folks.

May 2000. This is it - the very last one that was printed in the University of Arizona's Daily Wildcat. It would appear all over the place for the next few years, redrawn and redrawn, but that all ended in about 2004.

I had no idea what to say in a final strip - and what I did try to say got completely ruined by a massive typo that I still laugh at missing all of these years. "I want to say things to all of you" is supposed to be "I want to say THANKS to all of you" - which makes much more sense and is several percent less creepy. But perfect for the strip, no? Tad blows it on the landing. Heh.

I'll always keep drawing these guys - I'm having fun these days with Tad and Frank as middle agers dealing with life's usual failures. "Out House" was probably the greatest influence on my coming out, and having a daily soapbox to rail about being gay was one of the best gifts I've ever been given. Hope you enjoyed the run - going forward, I have no idea if I'll be able to keep up a new strip a day, but we'll see.
