In the slush

Managed to walk into town at lunchtime today, most of the roads were clear and the foot paths had turned to slush, but not so on the bit across the church yard...but I'm pleased to report I managed to remain upright!

Had a rummage in some packing boxes but I'm still missing a few essentials like cooking pans! Discovered a leak from the kitchen waste pipe which had flooded the cupboard which will require the skill of a professional tomorrow!

Cancelled going to the work christmas dinner tonight, couldn't face coming home late on the slush that has frozen again! so spent the evening wrapping presents, having a debrief with my little sister (who is now snowed in - about 10inches of the white stuff, which is way more than we have covering us) and drinking a glass of chilled white...ahhhhhhh
