My View

I haven't been far today. This was the view from home this morning, over the village and across the valley. Dramatic clouds and lighting in between the heavy showers. The tors left to right are Staple Tor, Pew Tor, Great Mis Tor and King Tor.

Yesterday I mentioned I had heard the cuckoo for the first time. You may be interested in this amazing journey of a cuckoo tagged on Dartmoor (in May last year) to central Africa. As you will see it was last tracked in Portugal on 24/4, presumably on its way back to the UK.
