A grey day.

A bit depressing maybe, but given that blip is a daily journal not every entry is going to sparkle. This is the peony I photographed last Sunday and the buds are clearly visible now. I just hope it doesn't get drowned out by the time the flowers come out because I have plans to photograph them. Black and white photographs can look very sombre but I sometimes think they can express emotion better than colour.
