A Little Splash Of Colour .........

........ in a miserable grey day.

It has been confirmed - our boiler is dead and needs replaced.
Bummer!
But it is over 23 years old so we can't really complain (apart from the cost for a new one).

I have just been next door after hearing the old couples smoke alarm.
It turns out that he forgot to turn off the gas and there was a plastic handle left overhanging. It is now spread over the cooker (and the back door step) but they are both fine although their house is going to stink of burnt plastic for days - and we know the smoke alarm works.
