And so...

The Man's birthday is tomorrow and we both have the day off to relax. A nice change since work is driving me mad. Mad I say. One of his gifts arrived quite a bit ago and its been sitting there in a giant box waiting for the big day. Well, he got to open it early because the news we've been waiting on finally arrived around noon today.

He'll be starting a new job come the new year where he'll be getting paid more and the perks are a bit different and more exciting, even for me. This also means that 'just a few more years in this area' has turned into 'several more years in this area' but I will survive I'm sure. More changes are on the horizon, perhaps this time next year we'll have a house and a puppy. I'm particularly looking forward to the puppy part.

Hopefully everything goes to plan... we'll see though.
