Greenock Cut
We were in the west of Scotland today, at Dunrod Hill. As at the JK, we were in an open area, but there were fewer features. I enjoyed it , but runners did better than me, which is sad. The centre of operations was at the Greenock Cut Visitor Centre. The Greenock Cut was built to take clean water to the inhabitants of Greenock and Port Glasgow, and also provide power for mills. It was renovated in 2007, and this is a small part above Greenock. It was an amazing piece of engineering.
