Burland Broch and Noness

What a cracker of a day :) The sun has been out all day and lovely and warm too. A real taste of summer :)

Chores around the house done apart from finishing off the fence. I was going to do it but it was far too fine to be painting the fence when I can be out walkies with Sammy dog.
Had a lovely roast chicken for Sunday dinner and then working later tonight.

This afternoon walkies was to Burland in Sandwick. A lovely walk with some stunning cliff scenery at Noness. There's also the Burland broch and across the water to the isle of Mousa and a stunning broch there too :) This is the ruin of the Burland broch with the cliffs of Noness.
