Turning the pages of time

If ever I were immortalise my dad in memory, this would be how he'll be: sitting on the sofa, reading the newspaper by the window in order to catch the light (and save on electricity). Seriously! He does that all the time, even in the evening when the sun is setting & there isn't much light coming in.. I'll tell him time & again to switch on the overhead lamp but he refuses; whenever I take the initiative to do so for him, he'll "*tsk!" and then switch it off. Then I'll go switch it on again. These days he'll just *tsk-tsk me when I do that, though he'll now just leave the lamp on. heh.

Today, a day of rest.
Yet still feel a bit weary.
Went for a 15-round run around the track
and a vertical walk up a 23-storey apartment building.
Sweated buckets, but it felt good :)
