Baby gardener

Following daddy into the front garden to help with the weeding :) he rather enjoys treading repeatedly on interesting textures - like raisins on the kitchen floor, or in this case the edge where drive meets border. The drive incidentally is being cleaned tomorrow.

He's been a boy of two halves most of today - full of fun at times, enjoying the evening sunshine in the garden and the street, and splashing in the bath earlier on, but with the most incredible grumpy spells -having a complete meltdown before tea when daddy took the wet flannel off him because it was getting his trousers soggy. Normally we'd blame tiredness but he had a pretty good night and two naps, so who knows. Too much excitement yesterday maybe? Daddy day tomorrow, and I admit to being happy to have a few hours break!
