Loch Leven Heritage Trail
We persuaded REO to come out with us today to complete the cycle of the newly finished circuit of Loch Leven, see yesterday's entry.
The new section, from the RSPB centre to Kinross is largely through farmland, and whilst a relatively easy cycle, we were immersed in swarms of whiteflies (or suchlike) throughout this stretch.
In the picture, FMO is sheltering in REO's wake, who is desperately trying not to eat too may of the wee sods...still, they are attracting hundreds of newly arrived swallows to the area.
For reference, the trail is not paved but is well surfaced throughout, busy near the car parks, but still lots to see on and around the loch - a grand way to spend the afternoon.
Walk with me this day
Walk with me between the light
Until we must fly
