Algae

Thursday we decided to see some more natural highlights of the island rather than any man made things. So we started off with some very impressive waves crashing into the volcanic rocks which had made little caves and passageways into the side of the island. This did not photograph particularly well despite (too many) attempts...
Then we moved onto the green lagoon; seemingly due to lots of iridescent green algae. Very interesting.

A delicious fresh seafood lunch was followed by another afternoon of lying on the beach and enjoying the sun. Tiresome. Then the evening was spent at a restaurant who enticed us in by standing at the door with of all things some little glasses of wine and slabs of extremely bland white cheese which they gave us as we attempted to just look at the menu. They knew how to entice us in.
