Kessock Bridge from the Black Isle.
The South-bound carriageway is being totally refurbished. The old tarmac has been removed, and the steel decking has been patched/cleaned-up and prepared with multiple protective coatings. It looks to be vastly ahead of where they were last year, when they did the North-bound carriageway - as here.
After looking at the some of the detail in this shot, I realised that one of the distant buildings is the new College that's currently being constructed. Looking closer, it was also possible to make-out a little of the (so called) "golden bridge". Wasn't aware of either at the time of taking the shot, so still haven't seen either in anything other than photographs, and plans. If I survive long enough, they'll both likely become a daily part of work life from mid-2015. No doubt I'll be Blipping them (far too) frequently from then as well...
