Eastern Beach stroll

In the 90's, Geelong restored their semi-circular sea swimming pool. Mr A and I checked out the 4000 sponsored planks. He did the lower path and I was on the raised "esplanade". Every 100 planks we would stop and compare whose name plate was screwed on the plank. So many had been bought by families to commemorate a deceased person. It was a lovely way to remember the optimism and love expressed by those families in"buying" their plank. My youngest is growing into good company, which is great.
