Unexpected

Mum was taken into hospital last night then flown to Aberdeen this morning so after an abrupt wake up call I drove to Aberdeen (via Golspie!). It seems it may be an extremely nasty viral infection though they are still ruling things out. This artwork in the corridor at ARI of the harbour is also unexpected! Fabulous though. The most pleasantly unexpected thing was how friendly and fantastic the Red Cross House is here in Aberdeen which offers refuge and comfort to hospital travellers, mostly those from the isles. It is quite a remarkable place.
