Across Bring Deeps

This is Hoy across Bring Deeps from Houton Head in Orphir. Those are greylag geese flying, there were a couple of hundred which were coming off the Holm of Houton and having a fly around. A pair of ravens nest nearby and will soon be refurbishing their nest. They always call out to let you know that they are keeping a wary eye on you.

Heading to Aberdeen tonight on the midnight boat. It actually leaves at 11.45, but there is nothing poetic about 'eleven forty-five'. I hope the morning train to Glasgow gets through.
